Magazine Studio Photo Shoot for Fashion Editor

Next week I am heading to the book launch for one of my clients, Kate, who is publishing a new novel alongside her day job as Fashion Editor for Platinum Magazine. She is also part of the styling team at Ely’s in Wimbledon.

Kate was a fashion editor at Elle Magazine for many years and was delighted to find a studio on her doorstep in Epsom, where she could get a magazine-style shoot without traipsing into the City.

Having spent a lot of time on photo shoots herself, albeit from behind the camera, she knew exactly what to do and how to pose; the looks she wanted and of course, how to style it.

She came with a great wardrobe and we worked together to get the fashion-ey poses she wanted.

Following our collaboration, her headshot appeared in Platinum, and then she asked me to shoot an image for Platinum Magazine for their Autumn pages. It was a very hot August day and she must have been sweltering wrapped up in a scarf!
